The Cosabella Lingerie Company came out with a “Sex and the City” lingerie line this spring depicting lingerie they felt three of the four characters on the hit HBO series would wear. I found it curious that they did not have anything representing Charlotte York. Well, now I think I know why. Kristin Davis, the actress who played Charlotte York-Goldenblatt announced this month that she is designing a fashion line due out this fall that includes lingerie. Okay, now this all makes sense. Davis’s line will be exclusive to Belk Department stores and will include clothing, sleepwear and accessories ranging in price from $38 – $240. The line has the oh-so-unimaginative name of “Kristin Davis.” The collection will naturally be feminine and savvy like Charlotte. The rumored reason for the partnering of Belk and Davis is that fact that Davis grew up shopping in Belk stores and thus has a great understanding of their customers.
